Richmond County Inmate Profile Fields
The public current inmate grid showed full name, age, race, sex, and admit date as visible columns. The grid JavaScript also identified PrimaryCharge and PrimaryChargeCourtType as adaptive fields. The charge grid lists charge descriptions and counts, then links charge entries to matching inmates. Bond information is named on the sheriff's inmate page, but the captured static grid did not show a bond amount column.

When Richmond County Records Are Missing
A missing roster result does not always mean the person was never arrested. County Jail and State Prison
Richmond County has both a county jail and a state prison, so search mistakes are common. The county jail is run by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office and holds local detainees. Richmond Correctional Institution is run by NCDAC and holds sentenced male state-prison offenders. A person may start in the county jail after arrest and later appear in NCDAC custody after sentencing or transfer.

Richmond County Booking Records
Richmond County does not publish a full booking procedure on the jail pages reviewed. Richmond County Jail Visitation
Richmond County Jail visitation is video-based through iWebVisit and PayTel. The official visitation page says each visitor must register with PayTel before scheduling an on-site standard video visit. Remote video visit refund questions go to PayTel, not the sheriff or jail. On-site visitors must provide valid photo identification before entering the visitation area, and no more than three people may use each kiosk.

The jail administrator page names Captain David Wall as Jail Administrator and lists the jail address and phone. The North Carolina Sheriffs' Association profile lists an additional jail number. Official Richmond County Jail pages reviewed did not publish a jail mail policy, commissary vendor, money-deposit vendor, phone price table, tablet program, commissary limit, or deposit fee schedule.
