When a visitor types a name, location, or similar term into a partner search box, that query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Richmond County Inmate Population does not keep its own log of those search terms. Public records may also be reached through official links such as the Richmond County Jail webapp at webapp01.richmondnc.com/dcn/, the NCDAC offender search, and the NC eCourts Portal, each under its own privacy practices.

If you send an email or contact message, the information in that message is used to read and respond to it. We do not share those messages outside the organization except when required by law, court order, subpoena, or another valid legal process.
